Events

As a charity, we run regular book related events to fund our work. Check back here for news on our exciting author talks and interactive events for children.

Our Special Events

As a charity, we rely heavily on our ticketed events to support our work, and we love to organise author talks and interactive events for children and families to enjoy. And for those of us who are no longer children but still in thrall to a good book, we also host literary talks for grown-ups.

Every ticket bought allows us to buy more and more local children their very own signed book from one of our fabulous children’s authors. We’ve given away over 13,000 books to date and we’re only just getting started.

In recent years we have been supported by wonderful people such as the Reverend Richard Coles, Rob Biddulph and Dame Jacqueline Wilson.

We have many new and exciting things in the pipeline, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
